What better way to enjoy an aperitif than with homemade sangria? This fresh, fruity drink is perfect for sharing with friends and family. With its white wine base, apple juice, fruit tea and fresh fruit, it's sure to please all tastes. And to add a gourmet touch, don't hesitate to accompany your sangria with delicious appetizers. The whole recipe can be made for less than 50$ thanks to Metro.

Sangria

To make:
  • 1 bottle white wine
  • 1 liter apple juice
  • 500 ml fruit tea, infused and cooled
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 50 ml Fitcook Foodz sugar-free peach syrup
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:
  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple juice, fruit tea, lemon, apple and sugar-free peach syrup.
  2. Leave to macerate in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  3. Just before serving, add ice cubes and enjoy chilled!

Lemon and Herbs Cottage Bites

Ingredients:
  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Fresh herbs (chives, parsley, basil)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Croutons
  • Smoked salmon
  • Cucumber slices

Instructions:
  1. Blend cottage cheese until smooth.
  2. Divide the purée into two equal parts.
  3. To one part, add lemon juice, fresh herbs, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. In the other, add Fitcook Foodz Tex-Mex spices and Fitcook Foodz La Funky. Mix well and set aside.
  5. To assemble the bites, place a tablespoon of cottage, lemon and herb sauce on a crouton.
  6. Add a slice of smoked salmon and a slice of cucumber.
  7. Enjoy!

Tex-Mex Turkey Mini-Muffins

Ingredients:
  • 250 g ground turkey
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • Fitcook Foodz Tex-Mex spices
  • 2 tablespoons gluten-free flour
  • Eggs (according to desired texture)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, green onion, Tex-Mex spices, gluten-free flour, eggs, salt and pepper.
  3. Divide the mixture between the cavities of a 12-cup mini-muffin tin.
  4. Bake for 16 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Let cool slightly before topping with Tex-Mex cottage sauce.
  6. Enjoy!
