RECOMMENDED USE OR PURPOSE:
Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve digestive upset/dyspepsia. Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a digestive tonic and bitter to help stimulate appetite and aid in (stomachic) digestion. Digestive enzymes. Aid in digestion. Helps digest proteins.
TIME OF USE:
Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.
RECOMMENDED DOSE:
Adults. Take 1 capsule three times a day. Take with or immediately before a meal or food.
WARNINGS:
Consult a health care practitioner if you are breastfeeding, symptoms persist or worsen, if you have diabetes, if you have pancreatitis, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency or cystic fibrosis, if you are taking blood thinners, anti-inflammatories or other products containing enzymes or before surgery.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use if you are pregnant, have acute stomach irritation or inflammation, or have a gastric or duodenal ulcer, or are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes.
KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Hypersensitivity/allergy may occur; if so, discontinue use. Nausea, vomiting, abdominal/epigastric pain and heartburn may occur. If so, discontinue use (and consult a health care practitioner).
