Helps increase total sleep time (aspect of sleep quality) in people with sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule, eg shift work and jet lag.

Helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep (sleep onset delay aspect of sleep quality) in people with delayed sleep phase syndrome.

TIME OF USE:

Consult a health care practitioner if using the product for more than 4 weeks.

RECOMMENDED DOSE:

Adults. Take 1 capsule daily. Take once daily at bedtime after dark, during travel and at destination until adaptation to the new cycle is established. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin.

WARNINGS:

Consumption in combination with alcoholic beverages or any other medication or natural health product with sedative effects is not recommended. If you are taking any of the following medications, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: blood thinners, anticonvulsants, immunosuppressants, blood pressure medications, sedatives/hypnotics/psychotropics, or steroids. If you have any of the following conditions, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: asthma, depression, diabetes or hypoglycemia, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, liver disease, immune system disease, migraines, hormonal problem , bleeding disorder, or seizure disorder. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia).

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product.

KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS:

Allergic reactions may occur in rare cases; if so, discontinue use. Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, cramps) may occur; if so, discontinue use. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use if seal is damaged or missing. Keep out of the reach of children.

Adultes. Prendre 1 capsule par jour. Prendre une fois par jour au coucher après la tombée de la nuit, durant le voyage et à destination jusqu’à ce que l’adaptation au nouveau cycle soit établie. Ne pas conduire ou utiliser de machinerie pendant 5 heures après la prise de mélatonine.
