Ingredients : ( Servings: 3)
- 6 slices of protein-enriched bread
- ¾ cup plant-based milk of your choice
- 1 1/2 scoops of Nova Pharma's Veggie Maple Protein
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp. of Fit Cook Foodz Le Cozy syrup
- 1 apple
- 3 tbsp Fit Cook Foodz La Colleuse sugar-free sauce
- ⅓ cup pumpkin seeds
- Cinnamon, to taste for finishing
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- To prepare the French toast: In a bowl, whisk together the milk and Nova Pharma plant-based protein. Cut the bread slices into small cubes. Place the bread cubes in the mixture. Mix until well coated. Place the soaked cubes in an ovenproof skillet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and slightly crispy.
- To prepare the caramelized apples: Slice the apple into thin slices. Place the apples in a skillet with Fit Cook Foodz's La Colleuse. Cook over low heat until tender. Set aside.
- To make the yogurt topping, mix plain Greek yogurt with Fit Cook Foodz Le Cozy syrup.
- When removed from the oven, top the French toast with a generous spoonful of the yogurt mixture, the caramelized apples and sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.
