Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup slimfield pumpkin waffle pecan syrup
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup melted unsalted butter
  • ½ cup crushed pecans

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F
  2. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg, milk, pumpkin puree and melted butter with a fork.
  4. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and mix.
  5. Pour batter into muffin tins.
  6. Bake for approximately 20 minutes.
